When we were dating I shared a story with Andy about how my entire childhood Lego city was given away to a cousin when I went away to college (unbeknownst to me until after the fact). Andy told me how he only had a small box of Legos when he was a kid and had to keep using the same ones to build different things.
That began our Lego gift giving in an effort to replace what I once had and fulfill his childhood dreams. We discovered eBay and the ability to buy Legos by the pound.
While everything hasn’t always been awesome, God has used the valleys to strengthen our relationship. For that growing, I am thankful.
How serendipitous that our Homeschool field trip landed on May 12th
. We spent our 18th anniversary with friends and as a family, laughing and playing.
From the moment I saw the carousel with Lego horses I was elated and felt like a kid. What a wonderful legotastic day it was even in the rain!
Grateful for the favor of the school group rate that afforded us to go!!
